Lawyer with more than 15 years’ experience in litigation and public and regulatory law, especially life sciences (health). Worked as a lay judge of the Civil Small-Claims Courts of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Bachelor’s degree in Law from Faculdade Nacional de Direito at UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro). Graduate degree in Public and Private Law from Escola da Magistratura do Estado do Rio de Janeiro; extension course in Business English and Common Law from Manchester University; extension course in Contracts, Civil Procedure based on the New Code of Civil Procedure, and in Special Courts from Escola da Magistratura do Estado do Rio de Janeiro; extension course in Data Protection, Technology, and Health from PUC/Rio (Pontifícia Universidade Católica, Rio de Janeiro).
