Paulo Cesar Salomão Filho
Paulo César Salomão Filho specializes in Litigation, Electoral Law, and Sports Law.
He holds a Law degree from the National Law School (UFRJ); a specialization in Electoral Law from the Higher School of Advocacy of the Federal District (UniCEUB); a Master’s degree in Procedural Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ); and a postgraduate degree in Electoral Law from the Higher School of Advocacy of the Federal District/UniCEUB, graduating with the title of specialist in 2012.
He is a full member of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), representing the State of Rio de Janeiro for the 2022–2025 and 2025–2028 terms. He served as a member of the OAB/RJ Council in the 2013–2015, 2016–2018, and 2019–2021 terms. He was Chair of the Sports Law Commission of the OAB Federal Council (CFOAB) for the 2022–2025 term and Chair of the Electoral Law Commission of the OAB/RJ for the 2013–2015 term. He also served as a member of the Ethics and Disciplinary Tribunal of the OAB/RJ during the same period.
He was President of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) for Football, elected for the 2018–2020 term, and served as Vice-President and Inspector General of the STJD for Football from 2016 to 2018. He acted as Director of the National School of Sports Law from 2014 to 2016 and as an Auditor of the Superior Court of Sports Justice for Basketball from September 2009 to 2016. Additionally, he was a full member of the Legal and Strategic Council of the Rio de Janeiro Commercial Association from January 2019 to January 2024.
