Paulo Salomão is recognized as an expert in litigation, Electoral Law, and Sports Law.

He has been a Board Member of the Legal and Strategic Council of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro since January 2019. Served as President of the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD) – Soccer, elected for the 2018–2020 biennium, and as Vice-President and Disciplinary Board Officer of the STJD – Soccer during the 2016–2018 biennium. He also held the position of Officer at the Brazilian School of Sports Law during the 2014–2016 biennium and served as Auditor of the STJD – Basketball from September 2009 to 2016.

Actively involved in the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ), he was a Board Member in the three-year periods 2013–2015, 2016–2018, and 2019–2021. Served as President of the Electoral Law Commission of OAB/RJ during the 2013–2015 three-year period and as a Member of the Court of Ethics and Discipline of OAB/RJ in the same period.

Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculdade Nacional de Direito, UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro); is a specialist in Electoral Law from UniCEUB (Escola Superior de Advocacia do Distrito Federal); and has earned a Master’s degree in Procedural Law from UERJ (Rio de Janeiro State University).
