Lawyer with solid experience in civil litigation, arbitration, bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings.

Member of the Arbitration Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association – Rio de Janeiro Chapter (OAB/RJ), the Special Committee on Judicial and Extrajudicial Reorganization and Bankruptcy of the OAB/RJ, and the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr). Marcela is also the Secretary-General of the Special Committee on Mercosul – European Union Affairs of OAB/RJ.

Marcela is a member of the editorial team of the Electronic Journal of Procedural Law (REDP) and is also the author of publications and academic articles focused on arbitration and civil procedural law.

Doctoral candidate and Master’s degree in Procedural Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), an LL.M. (Master of Laws) from New York University (NYU Law), and a Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
